Our team follows the SKZ Fanbase Project Union's directive & goals for all things voting for Stray Kids. We also support our dedicated Stray Kids websites by SKZCBGuide & SKZGlobal for all things Comeback and use voting guides from Team SVS & SKZCBGuide.All 3 of those teams have detailed comprehensive websites that provide STAYs with a plethora of guides and information. We encourage STAYs to bookmark them and use them frequently.
About SKZ Polls
SKZ Polls was established in 2021 after a few STAYs saw a need to have a dedicated account familiar with voting and twitter polls to organize and encourage STAYs to participate in valid polls that help with voting for Stray Kids.Our fanbases already do so much and sometimes a few of the voting bases would try to get threads together but they end so quickly and new ones are always popping up, our bases just did not have the manpower to keep up with it.In the effort to help, STAYs unknowingly, would try to gather polls to post in threads without verifying the accounts and this lead to scams and STAYs realizing that so many accounts were fake in turn wasting their time. It became increasingly difficult to get STAYs to participate in valid polls.Which is why we needed a team dedicated to verifying accounts and proofs, notifying the fandom about fake accounts/polls, that could organize threads and push polls on the timeline to help STAYs multitask.So, our teams journey began, it took some time to prove we were dedicated and qualified to run the team on behalf of our bases and our fandom but over time we have worked diligently to earn our fanbases trust and our fandoms trust.We are voting STAYs ourselves and from time to time we purchase from booster accounts and we know how valuable STAYs time & money is so we spend a lot of time making sure both are never wasted.
What does SKZ Polls do?
Our team prides itself on the following responsibilities on behalf of our fanbases and fandom:
• Verify booster accounts to ensure they are valid, while also notifying our fandom of fake or scam accounts.• Creating organized threads of all twitter polls for Stray Kids in one place that are posted by valid booster accounts.• Verify Proofs from polls STAYs have won within 2-3 days depending on how many there are. We also keep an eye on the ones we lose to see if certain booster accounts are scamming.• Help STAYs verify their proofs when purchasing votes or from participating in retweet deals with booster accounts.• We look for LARGE purchases of votes from STAYs and make a note to look back at the booster accounts to see if they "sell" the same amount of votes to another STAY and if they are using the same proofs to verify they are not "Double Dipping" and scamming STAYs.• Monitoring NEW booster accounts to ensure they are valid.• Our team also helps the flow of information through Stayville by retweeting posts from our fanbases regarding ongoing voting and information about comebacks.• When needed we also backup our fanbases when they need additional bases to participate in voting teams or establishing group chats for various fandom events.
Our notifs on twitter are filtered BUT we often do miss tagged comments or posts because even filtered we get hundreds daily just from STAYs participating in polls and we can not MUTE a poll to avoid getting the spam because we need to still be able to track polls.Which is why our DMs are always open and we encourage STAYs to DM us anytime with Polls we may have missed, questions about the validity of an account, or if STAYs need help verifying proofs. If a STAY sees something suspicious that needs our attention please do not hesitate to contact us.
What are Twitter Polls & How to Particpate?
There are teams of farming accounts known as booster accounts that collect on various voting platforms amassing a large number of votes to sell, they build their following and reputations by hosting Polls on twitter awarding the winner of the polls with FREE VOTES for groups that are currently nominated in various categories on various platforms.It's one of the ways STAYs can help give our fandom a small edge in voting, it is by no means the method that will WIN them for us, but winning polls on twitter can help us fill in the small gaps we have in our fandom when it comes to voting.ALWAYS PRIORITIZE IN-APP VOTING OVER TWITTER POLLSEach booster account sets requirements to make your vote on their poll valid.Examples of these are:
• Follow the booster account
• Like the Poll
• Retweeting the Poll
• Like & Retweeting their PINNED POST on their profiles (it's usually their latest info about purchasing votes from them they need to boost to be able to sell them quickly).
• Reaching a specific number of followers
• Post PROOFS in comments or under Artist's Hashtag under the poll - Proofs mean take a screenshot of your like or retweet or of you following the account and posting it in the comments.Lastly, sometimes the accounts will set minimum required numbers for the requirements, for example; a requirement could be Like the Poll but the likes need to be at least 200 by the end of the poll to be complete and for the winner to receive the votes from the booster account for their group.The booster accounts do actually look through the proofs commented and track the likes, retweets, and follows before and after a poll opens and closes to verify if the requirements were met or not and they will invalidate a poll win if they see the requirements are not met.There are times that valid accounts will post very high requirements for very little votes, we do track some of the accounts that do this, as well as accounts who have a large amount of invalid polls (not met requirement polls) to see if they are setting them to high for fandoms to achieve on purpose so that we can flag the accounts. If the accounts haven't been flagged for something similar in the past but we see this happens we will decide if we will promote the twitter poll or not because we know that the time wasted completing the requirements is NOT worth the votes they are awarding and our purpose is saving STAYs time and from being scammed.
Scam, Fake & Flagged Accounts
All accounts listed on the google sheet linked above, have been checked and all team members agreed that we will not participate in their polls or engage with their accounts. For any number of various reasons, SKZ Polls has deemed the accounts to be fake, a scam, or untrustworthy.We strongly suggest STAYs remove all interactions with the accounts listed; remove all "likes" and undo all retweets including the interactions with the accounts pinned posts, delete quote retweets, delete all comments and proofs posted.THEN BLOCK THE ACCOUNT!
How to easily spot a fake booster account?
With the changes on twitter and the push to earn money by boosting a premium account using engagement metrics to earn bonuses from the platform and the previous NFT accounts that purchase accounts that are established for a certain amount of time, increasing the payout based on the number of followers in order to spam followers to scam them or push a product or service we see a large amount of FAKE ACCOUNTS who mimic real booster accounts just to gain followers and boost engagements for money.About 90% of the accounts we see are Music Streaming, Concert Events, or Entertainment accounts ALL FROM JAPAN!They are obvious as soon as you click on the account their @ will be similar to these:@JapanliveConcrt

@liveconcert1121and if you click on their media posts they may have 1-2 voting proofs they have stolen from valid accounts but almost always their media is filled with spam about events and services they are trying to sell and scam.These accounts will also change their profile layouts to mimic the largest awards ceremonies in South Korea or Music Shows creating accounts with @ that frequently look like this:@kpopvoteteam

@2023 _ AAA _ JAPANWe have also seen accounts deactivate after being called out, just to reactivate later and rebrand, which is why we still keep a list of them so we can periodically check them to see if they are posting fake polls again.Most of the time it is so blaringly obvious it makes us realize that STAYs who make threads of polls did not even look at the account at all before telling STAYS to participate. It's makes our job harder to protect STAYs from falling for scams and unknowingly allowing greedy people to use them for monetary gain.If you choose to take the time to make your own threads instead of sharing ours; at least make sure you use our Flagged Accounts List to block accounts we took the time to verify are fake so that you don't waste everyone's time.
